How do you calculate the Daily Loss Limit?

The daily loss limit is the maximum amount of loss that can be incurred on your account in a single day. The daily loss limit is calculated based on the previous day's balance, which is recorded daily at 02:00 a.m. Astana time (GMT+5), which corresponds to 17:00 a.m. Eastern Time (EST). The daily stop limit increases as your account balance increases. Example: If your balance at the end of the previous day (at 02:00 a.m. Astana time) is \$100,000, your account will violate the daily loss limit if your capital drops to \$95,000 during the current day. If your floating capital is +\$5,000 on an account of \$100,000, then the next day after 02:00, the daily loss limit will still be calculated from \$100,000, resulting in a loss of \$95,000.

Commissions and Swap

Commissions for transactions

When opening and closing a position on the platform, the standard commission of the broker/liquidity provider (LP) is charged.

For Forex currency pairs and metals, the commission is $7 per 1 lot.

The commission amount can be seen in the order window before confirming the transaction.

SWAP (swaps)

SWAP is charged for transferring a position to the next day.

If a transaction is closed during the day, the swap is not charged.

When holding a position from Wednesday to Thursday, a triple SWAP is calculated, as it includes weekends. 

The size of the SWAP depends on the instrument and can be viewed directly in the platform in the order window.

Is there a breach for inactivity?

Yes. We will consider you inactive and your account will be breached if you do not have any trading activity on your account for 30 consecutive days.

What is 1 lot equal to on the Trading Platform?

"Forex: 1 lot = $100k notional

● Index: 1 lot = 1 Contract Exceptions: SPX500: 1 lot = 10 contracts

JPN225: 1 lot = 500 contracts

● Cryptos: 1 lot = 1 coin

● Silver: 1 lot = 5000 ounces

● Gold: 1 lot = 100 ounces

● Oil: 1 lot = 100 barrels "

What is the difference between a Hard Breach and Soft Breach rule?

"Soft breach means that we will close all trades that have violated the rule. However, you can continue trading in your Assessment or Funded Account. ● Hard breach means that you violated either the Daily Loss Limit or Max Drawdown rule. Both rules constitute a hard breach. In the event you have a hard breach, you will fail the Assessment or have your Funded Account taken away."

Can I hold positions over the weekend?

How do you calculate the Max Drawdown (STATIC)?

Maximum drawdown is the maximum your account can drawdown before you would hard breach your account. When you open the account, your Maximum Drawdown is set at a defined % of your starting balance. This % is static and does not trail.
